major quality issues

Update 08/19/18: I'm still having problems. The 4th display arrived and is working but my other monitor is dead now. I will be calling tomorrow to arrange the 5th RMA for these monitors. I lost months of productivity back and forth. Viewsonic support is great, they are friendly and provide an RMA promptly, but great customer service that only makes up for so much if the product is faulty. I would like to give 0 stars. Update 6/18/19: I wanted to update this. I'm awaiting the arrival of the second replacement monitor I mentioned in my previous review. I went to turn on my other monitor this morning and it is dead. This makes a third dead monitor. In case anyone is wondering if this is happening to electricity in my house, I use a surge protector and have numerous other displays including an Acer monitor and a TCL TV that have no issues. Original: I bought two of these monitors late for a home office setup. last year. A few weeks after purchase, one of the monitors experienced intermittent power issues. After all, he died last month. I went through the RMA process which seemed too slick to me. I was expecting a Viewsonic rep to ask questions and try to fix my monitor when I told them it was the power supply. Instead, they return the product right away, which is either great customer service, or they get a lot of calls related to power adapters. They talk about their "BEST WARRANTY IN THE INDUSTRY: 3-Year Coverage" but require you to pay for shipping. I paid almost $90 to return it, which is cheaper than a new monitor but pushes the running cost to over $200. The process took about 3 weeks from start to finish. This morning I hooked up a new monitor that was mailed to me. Turned on briefly and went out. different power supply. Now I am faced with returning or buying a new monitor. I would recommend anyone reading this to get a better monitor first and save yourself the hassle.
