My rating is based on MY USE of this product ONLY! I have mainly used this yarn for leather goods I have made such as purses and sheaths. I compared it to my regular yarn I use: Ritza 25 or Tiger 0.8 yarn. This yarn contains significantly less wax than Ritza 25 so if you like sawing yarn with lots of wax this isn't for you unless you want to wax. thread for himself. For me, my stitches came out perfect, just like using Ritza 25 thread (the gold standard for hand sewing leather). From what I've noticed, the gauge of this thread is similar to that of the Ritza 25, maybe a little less, but that won't matter for your final project. Now the best: price and availability - Ritza 25 I have to order from Europe and pay 5-6 times more than this thread. So for me this is a clear winner.
