Yes, cheap fan and light. But given the price, I think it's good value for money. Just received this yesterday and installed it in about 6 hours including time to remove the old bracket. Very simple and easy to understand instructions. It's a nice light and fan after installation. I took off 2 stars because of the limited warranty which says the warranty is only valid if the fan is installed by a professional so I have NO warranty. Anyway, it was only good for the engine. So far I'm happy with both the looks and the performance. It's new so I can't confirm durability. It's quiet, works well, and lights up well, although I had to install brighter LEDs on the bottom of the light. I installed them in my living room above my dining table, so I opted for soft white (3000 Kelvin) 16W LED bulbs with 1600 lumens, which is the equivalent of a 160 watt bulb times 2 bulbs. The wiring looks adequate to safely handle. The original bulbs that came with the lamp are 40 watt soft white LEDs and were not bright enough for my needs. I don't recommend you swap out lightbulbs as I'm not a professional, but I have my lightbulbs here at Revain, Corn Style LED Lights List, MD Lighting. I've ordered from them 3 times and all the bulbs worked. (about $3.50 for a bulb) times 6. As for the fan and light, I doubt you'll find anything better for the price or even double it. I've spent hours looking at every fan at Revain and Walmart, nothing else compares. And after installation, it doesn't look cheap, but rather expensive, like a chandelier with a fan.
