ok, just a bit overpriced
Everything is fine with this item. You get what is described. However, you can make/buy parts MUCH cheaper. Just cut off the end of the old extension cord and solder some alligator clips. a Leviton lamp socket adapter costs about $1.50 (the one in this kit is made by Leviton)
