Our pup had a growth on his back that he kept nibbling on and we were struggling to find an alternative to Kegel to work with. While we still had to use a regular cone, this costume really helped prevent it, our other dog, and other things from being able to access it before and after it was removed. Not very useful for his mid cut since it wasn't closed. The little hole he could urinate through worked pretty well, we only had one issue when one day he lay down at an odd angle and moved the fabric enough to urinate in. I would not recommend if a long haired dog is going to be wearing it outside a lot as due to the tight clothing it can get very hot with all the hair close to the body. Size XL barely fits our 25 lb poodle puppy, it's for small dogs only.
