The price seems to have gone up a bit since my purchase and I was able to get four packs at a lower unit price. I didn't buy the blankets for their intended purpose, but to use them around the frame of the golf simulator's impact screen to provide some protection from accidental shots and to make the projected image look a bit brighter. They are very suitable for this. Movable ceilings aren't as heavy as those you could rent in the past, but they carry a decent amount of weight. I recently bought another brand for a little less money and overall they are much better and worth what I had to pay. Even at the current price, they are a worthwhile offer. They are well made with double stitching in all the right places and I would say they are a good average weight so should offer good furniture protection if bought for that reason. And I wouldn't hesitate to use them myself for that reason. The ones I received didn't have any bad odors as some other reviews have reported. They were well packaged and sealed in plastic to keep moisture out. The reported odors and fluctuating price make me wonder if there are any quality control issues that you would probably expect for moving blankets in this price range. Although the current price suggests better quality. That is hard to say. Personally I'm happy with the purchase and have rated it based on what I spent and how they've been used. If you're buying these to protect furniture and expecting heavy blankets, which you may have rented from a moving company in the past, you'll likely be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a good mid-weight moveable blanket, based on my experience I can easily recommend this one.
