Wow! look what Santa gave me for Christmas; New Hygger 500w smart immersion heater with digital LED outdoor temperature display. Just two parts: the stylish, high-end ceramic heater itself and an external button used to adjust temperature settings and view temperature readings in the aquarium water. I have never seen a heater that heats up my tank so quickly and so safely! The time display images above were taken 10 seconds apart. After a few minutes I had reached my desired target temperature of 78 degrees. The reason I call this hygger a smart heater is for several reasons and one thing: when it starts to approach its target temperature for a few minutes after the initial temperature, it slows down during the last 2 degrees, so it's correct, this Don't overheat the water to get near-ideal readings. I really like how the heater lets me know when it's heating up or when it's idle; The images above show the horseshoe digital print above the numbers constantly moving from empty to full to indicate its heating. When the horseshoe digital print above the numbers fills without moving, the heater is on standby, keeping the temperature at the desired level. . This is my second Hygger heater so I now have a 300w version and a new 500w version. I like both heaters but the 500 watt is definitely the best. The higher output actually saves power consumption by slightly heating the ceramic. So now I need 5 more 500w Hygger heaters for my other aquariums. Throw those old glass heaters in the trash.
