Review on 🔄 Blukit 7ft Expandable and Retractable Washing Machine and Dishwasher Drain Hose - 3/4”, 7/8" & 1" Diameter - Adjustable Length of 27" to 86 by Troy Gerhardt

At first this hose seemed like the perfect solution to my problem with water leaking from the dishwasher air gap. It's virtually impossible to route it so that the water only goes as far as the drain pipe that's available to me. I fitted this nifty accordion hose and was able to adjust it to the correct length - great! But unfortunately there is a big problem with this hose and my success was short lived. When the dishwasher pumps out HOT waste water by filling this hose, the accordion folds of this hose are completely relaxed and the hose turns into a soft mush and is pulled out, creating dimples and loops in the drain line that lead to water. So I had to make some wooden "luboks" and tie them to the sections of tubing so it wouldn't sag or collapse. It's a shame because this product would have a lot of potential if made with a different plastic formulation that can handle normal hot water temperatures at the dishwasher outlet. Actually pretty stupid on the part of the manufacturer.
