What really attracted me was the replacement tips. I do a lot of handwork and the standard round nozzle I had on my previous heat gun was often too stiff for my projects. This thing came with the wide flat head which I use all the time - it spreads the heat really evenly compared to the round ones. Combined with the two temperature settings (I usually stick with the lower temperature, which works well and gives me time) it meant I had a lot more control over my projects this way. I typically do things like bending plastic, where it's important to evenly distribute heat to ensure consistent, undeformed bending. So it works fine for that.
