Bought for my dad to take to his chemo and hydration appointments. I gave it to him for Father's Day. He had cancer of the esophagus, and the color of periwinkle is the color of consciousness, and I thought the ceiling resembled the color of periwinkle. Unfortunately, my father didn't win the battle with cancer and he died after a year and 1/2 long battle. He was and always will be my hero and I hope this blanket gave him comfort as he read some of the inspirational things I thought about him. He was very thin towards the end of his life and struggled to keep warm but I think the blanket helped a little and was very soft.
