This little shoe bench is worth its weight in gold. The assembly was very easy and a lot of fun. At maximum capacity, it will hold approximately eight pairs of medium-sized adult tennis shoes or low-top sneakers. I actually use it to hold two different pairs of boots on the bottom shelf and it does a great job even though they stick out a bit. Two adults in my house regularly use the bench at the same time (probably around 275 pounds total). The bench wobbles slightly with two people, but that doesn't bother me much. The bench is unobtrusive and keeps my entryway organized and elegant. Sitting on a bench to put on or take off your shoes is such a small but nice pleasure. And I will win even small victories in these days.
