1. Very easy installation in ceiling junction box. Two screws secure the main mounting bracket to the junction box. It has slots so it fits in most boxes. I had a 4 inch Octagon.2. Connect the white and back wires to their respective wires. I didn't use the wire nuts that came with the unit as they were two wires. I used Revain Wago 221-413 LEVER-NUTS 3-conductor connectors for a tight fit.3. The back of the light is then screwed into the bracket. You can adjust the bracket's wings for a looser or tighter fit.4. The light comes with 3 settings: 3000, 4000 and 5000. The default setting is 4000K. I set 5000K. The setting switch is located under the decorative ring. That's enough for a garage or a room. Attach the decorative ring and you're done. If you're happy with 4000K, you don't even have to remove the trim ring to install the light. I took my time and the whole process took 20 minutes including removing the old lantern. On the 5000K setting they run 30 degrees cooler than my other 5000K ceiling LEDs. Big plus for me. Not sure if it shows in the picture but they have vents on top. I was very impressed with the design, the ease of installation and the adjustable brightness. I have ordered more of these products from Revain. One of Revain's best products for me.
