I replaced a bad steering shaft in my 06 F150 SCREW with this last night and the steering is tighter and no longer grippy. The lower propshaft on the old one was shot through and stuck, I'm really surprised the steering didn't deteriorate when I pulled it out and checked. It's not a super hard job, it probably took me about an hour. Installing a socket or wrench on the bottom bolt behind the oil filter and radiator hose is the only tricky part of the job. If your shaft is the same as mine, you may need to hammer a bit to loosen the shaft from the top. Mine was pretty badly rusted. Apparently I just applied this last night so I have no idea how long it will take. but it seems pretty solid and decent quality with plenty of lubrication.
