Review on Auxbeam LED Offroad Spot Lights For Trucks by Aaron Jones

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not very bright. Need to switch power supplies to get different modes

I unpacked these cube lights and tested them the night before installing them. I packed them back. i give them back Initially, there are only instructions for the mechanical installation of the lights. There are no instructions for electrical connections or how the lights work. The included wiring harness has connectors for connecting a battery, a relay, an on/off switch and two connectors for connecting to two light cubes. Everything is pre-wired. Luckily I work in electronics and figured out the wiring. These light cubes are daytime running lights and spot lights. What isn't mentioned in this list is that you have to toggle the power button twice to turn on the spot beam. When you flick the switch for the first time, only the daytime running lights turn on. If you need a spot beam, you have to turn the switch off and on again. IF I KNOW THIS, I WOULD NEVER ORDER. I have other light panels that turn on with a single switch. I also wanted these light cubes to turn on with the same switch. I want all my offroad lights to turn on with one switch. This means I have to flip the switch twice to turn on those light cube spot beams. This is me about Mickey Mouse. When I ordered them I assumed it was a separate port for the DRL and another port for the spot beam. nope! You have to press the toggle switch to switch to spot beam mode. Finally, spot beams aren't very bright at all. It was a waste of time. They are boxed and processing returns as soon as I click send on this review.
