Review on TITIMO Folding Hitch Mount Carrier by Donald Gore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good durable carrier

First, the rack was well packaged. There was foam, plastic, and straps to protect the rack from shifting or scratching during transit. It was pretty easy to set up for me. Took me about 30-40 minutes to assemble everything. I usually work with cars and other things. It might be a little tricky for those with no experience assembling things, but not bad at all. The instructions are pretty simple. Once installed on the hitch, the trunk seemed pretty solid. I'm a little shaky from side to side, but from what I've read that's pretty normal for any carrier you buy. I think there are clutch tensioners you can buy to fix this. It didn't wobble much where that would be a problem, but I might buy one of these later in the future to have more stability. . I didn't have that problem with mine. The steel arm holding the carrycot is quite thick. I can't imagine it bending or sagging. I stood on it to see if it could support my weight and it held up with no problem. I weigh 236 pounds. I even jumped up and down on it and didn't feel like it was going to bend at all. The lever that attaches to the hitch also has different holes so I could put it where I could still open the back of the truck without hitting the trunk. or the cargo I carried. The set also included a large bag, mesh and 2 straps. The bag is a bit flimsy and I wish it was a zipped bag and not just a bag but it's more of a rack accessory so it didn't really matter and I think I can buy a better bag separately if I can feel that I need it in the future. The network that comes with the kit works very well. The hooks on the net attach to the rails on the rack fairly well, they hold everything in place well. The straps were good too. I haven't had any problems with them either, I'm happy with them. The backpack feels durable and offers plenty of storage space for on the go. Haven't used it on a trip yet but if I run into any problems in the future I'll update this review. Also don't forget to buy a clutch pin if you don't already have one. This was the only item missing to complete. They're only a few bucks at Walmart or Amazon, so it's not a big deal. Good trunk, I recommend.
