Great temperature for hermit crabs

Love the bulb I bought the 60 watt bulb because I use it with hermit crabs, it heats up quickly. The thermostat works better than the strips you stick on the included battery tank. I'm hoping to find some sort of timer to use with this as I can't keep the heating on all day. The pear does not turn red, but warms up.
