I absolutely urge you to buy this if you need to raise your leg for any reason. I broke my ankle and had surgery the same week. I started using pillows stacked on top of each other, which put a lot of pressure on the sore spots on my ankle after surgery, causing a lot of pain. It was also difficult to properly support the knee and hip without causing them discomfort. My foot fell off the pillow while I was sleeping. I needed so many pillows to get the lift and comfort I needed that I had to use almost every pillow in the house. When changing from bed to chair I had to try to readjust the pillows, it was a disaster! I ordered it the day after my surgery and it arrived within a day. I had my friend wait on the stairs for these bags as soon as I saw they were ten stops away. (You can use it as you grow, but it's much more comfortable at max size.) I like that it has edges that prevent the foot from falling off. That's the perfect height. It has a gradual incline that supports the knees and hips so you don't put pressure on your calves or feet. It is completely firm without causing any discomfort. It is by no means difficult, but it keeps the foot in place, which is very important after the operation. I find it has significantly reduced the postoperative pain. And makes everyday life much easier and more comfortable. It's light enough that I can throw it where I'm going instead of trying to carry it on crutches. It's easy to lift it onto a bed or chair by the handle. I also like the handle that faces you so you can pull it closer. The material is so soft and comfortable. I want to give this product 1000 stars. Literally saves lives! I used to be very reluctant to lift my leg because it was very uncomfortable. Now it's more comfortable than when my leg is straight.
