Review on 🧹 Rubbermaid Microfiber Flat Spin Mopping System: Efficient Floor Care with Wringer Bucket (2104526), Red by Meagan Thompson

We mostly have laminate floors in our 2500 sf house so a good floor cleaner or finding cleaners is always a good idea. When it first became available I jumped at the opportunity to try it. The design of the mop and bucket is such that you can fold the sides of the mop and place them in the rotating chamber and rotate the mop by pressing the handle. It seems to work pretty well. My partner had an issue when he first used it and the mop head fell off the handle. It took a lot of effort to assemble the mop but it worked fine after that. Here are our pros and cons: Pros: + The microfiber mop head cleans the floor well, leaving minimal streaks. It washes well and dries fairly well using the Wring+ technique. The body of the mop looks pretty solid and feels like it should last a relatively long time.+ The bucket is well designed for use with this particular mop+. foldable. One side of the mop when washing near the skirting board/ledge allows for easy cleaning of the ledges as stated in the description. Disadvantages: - After 5 uses, the mop head starts to deteriorate. I understand it should last for about 50 washes but I don't think it will last that long unless you only use it for touching up. I know I got it before the official release, but since I couldn't find the mop head it sat in the corner for now, possibly scrap in the long run. The design of the mop is unique and there are no other products that are suitable for it. My partner has some concerns about the stability of the handle. You must lock the handle to use it, unlock it to rotate and use it for rinsing, and then lock it again before using it. In several cases, the mop was unlocked during its use, causing the mop to collapse. While I like the mop in general, the lack of consumables worries me. The mop comes with just one nozzle. I suggest it comes with a large quantity or it should be possible to order replacement pads once the mop becomes available. Otherwise the purchase will be a waste of time after the failure of the first mop cover. If interchangeable heads become available and I have a better chance of using the mop, I'll be able to give a smarter review at that point.
