oh my god that's all I can say. I thought a simple size 8.5 would fit, but that's more like a 10 or 11. So be sure to just measure your foot and choose the right size. I had another chance to get another one and I reduced the size by 7.5 and it worked much better. I think an attempt would have even worked. The only complaint I have is that the concept of the tie doesn't really hold up as it will somehow slip off and get lost. That's why choosing the right size is so important.
