I've recently tried 6 different metallic acrylics and DecoArt Extreme Sheen is the absolute winner in terms of pigment and reflectivity. Surprisingly, all of the metallics I tried were slightly transparent and required more than 2 coats to get opaque, but Extreme Sheen was a little less transparent than the others. The brands I tried are shown from left to right in the photos below: Metallics Rose GoldExtreme Sheen has the brightest sheen of any metallic, and the shimmer is dense enough to look golden rather than metallic yellow or beige. In comparison, Martha Stewart's colors look mostly like champagne tan/brown with a metallic sheen only at certain angles, while DecoArt's Dazzling Metallics were clear and striped. Sargent Liquid Metal was good too, but more transparent than DecoArt Extreme Sheen. Overall I would choose Extreme Sheen again.
