less glitter than glitter

The mica flakes in this color give a very shiny look, which I didn't expect from something with the word "shine" in the title. If you're not intentionally shiny and don't want to shine, Sargent Metallics are just as good, if not better, and cost about half the price.

Pros
  • feels good
Cons
  • everything is great

High-quality super gold piece of jewelry with lots of glitter!

Extreme Glitter is the perfect name for this color. Unfortunately, it's too irrational for our needs, but we recommend it to anyone who needs a very rich, shimmering gold shade. Note: It is very glossy, so it is more suitable for Christmas decorations or posters. Not for touching up the gold finish of antiques. The paint is of very good quality.

  • Pleasant

This is the only metallic gold product I need

I love this product. The luster and color are pleasing to the eye and the color is comfortable to use. To bring out the details I applied paint to a paper plate and used it as a palette and when I was done I threw it away. Remove excess paint with a paper towel, then rinse the brush with water. I wiped it off with another paper towel

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Some cons

Beautiful shiny gold color. Takes more than one shift.

Pros: Shiny gold Color is good - no green or brown cast and the gloss is easy to see. Cons: Fairly thick, but seems to plow into the pages when your brush tries to smudge it, leaving a streak of barely-there paint wherever the brush touches it. It flattened out as it dried (after a lot of brush fumbling) but I can still see brush marks and background - in many places. (I painted on a black background.) If you could do this for your project, I think fill fill would work best, and if not, plan on

Pros
  • Highest gloss of any metallic paint
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

The most reflective of all the metallic acrylics I've tried

I've recently tried 6 different metallic acrylics and DecoArt Extreme Sheen is the absolute winner in terms of pigment and reflectivity. Surprisingly, all of the metallics I tried were slightly transparent and required more than 2 coats to get opaque, but Extreme Sheen was a little less transparent than the others. The brands I tried are shown from left to right in the photos below: Metallics Rose GoldExtreme Sheen has the brightest sheen of any metallic, and the shimmer is dense enough to look

Pros
  • Uniform shimmer Made from ultra fine pigments
Cons
  • Crease

I wanted to love this color

I have bought many bottles of this color in different colours. I was so excited to try them out and see the metallic shine! I started my project and started exploring different colors. What happened next was very disappointing. Some of the paint colors looked perfect and beautiful after shaking the paint and squeezing out some of it. It seemed a bit "unmixed" but not enough to disqualify it for use in my project. Maybe not as good as hoped, but acceptable. However, as I opened and tried eachโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Premium durable metallic finish
Cons
  • So far so good
