There are TWO (different) reviews and both are correct. Pretty. Oily sheen only, no gems. However, I gave it to my mother, who admired it and bought a replacement. Also postponing the purchase because I was worried about having trinkets on hand in a deadly machine. Bought. Please. Mom was impressed and loved it so I'm buying a new one. Not to say it is NOT as advertised and actually cheaper. So too expensive!
