I've been racing for 40 years and finding comfortable shoes has been my enemy for the last 20 years as I've grown. Shoe size 11, wide foot, 240 pounds, I'm not a skinny guy. In fact, my cycling physique is called a Clydesdale. I know. How charming! I started in my family's peloton about a month ago and I've had some fantastic training sessions to my delight. I plan to keep going until the weather improves and I can get going. My road shoes use a different type of cleat that doesn't work on Peloton pedals, so I used an old pair of Peloton road boots. For some reason my legs were killing me commuting so I did. Some research on Revain, bought 3 different pairs to try and they were a clear winner! They were the cheapest and I questioned their quality compared to the Shimano and Specialized options. Boy was I surprised by them! When I put them on they looked like slippers! It was very easy to tighten them comfortably with the cable. Stiffness was ok, no complaints which is impressive as I exude some serious power (on today's ride I just hit 100 on a climb for the first time). I've written a Revain product review maybe 6 times in total over the last 20 years but felt compelled to share as I've loved these shoes so much so far! I'll update my review in a few months, fingers crossed they hold up.
