Review on Compression Socks For Travel: NuVein 15-20 MmHg Knee High Support Socks For Men And Women With Closed Toe - Charcoal, Small Size To Reduce Swelling by Julie Johnson

some support but sizing matters

I tried a few versions of these compression socks. They all provide some minor benefit if you're going to be sitting still in a cramped position for an extended time. They all seem to stay up pretty well, but are thin enough that you could wear socks over them. In the case of the thinner versions, you may need those socks to have men's casual shoes fit correctly. The version that goes over the calf is the most useful but feels most odd if you're not used to stockings. That version also adds a little warmth for long, cold winter-time flights. These Mediums were too tight for my taste, but XL weren't snug enough to offer much benefit (but did keep me warmer on a cold flight). L is probably the sweet spot. The M and maybe L are tight enough that you wouldn't want to be struggling to put them on at the airport, so come prepared.Overall, it's not dramatically going to change your travel experience, but might make you slightly more comfortable for extended transits.
