
Forget grinding residue. Two of them had rust on their chains, but they slid better than clean ones. The dovetail is very rough (more like casting) so they don't slide well. Nothing about the fit/finish is impressive (even the sanding is pretty rough). The parallelism seems good (+/- 0.0005) but they need cleaning and lapping. Compared to Starret, they're terrible. Compared to the general, they are still inferior. They are great for hobbies. They used a combination of Phillips and slotted screws.
