Great Dowel Pins
These dowels were used to fix a broken piano stool. I increased the size from 7/16" to 1/2" with dowels to fit fresh wood. I put glue in the hole and on the dowels before hammering them in (light tapping). The ridges on the dowels allow the glue to move rather than being pushed out for a better bond. I would buy it again but this pack will probably be with me for the rest of my life.
Pros
- These dowel pins are made from kiln dried birch wood with grooves to prevent air ingress for a superior fixing. The grooved pins also ensure an even distribution of the adhesive.
