Review on 💄 Jane Iredale Pure & Simple Makeup Kit: Complete Look with Mineral Foundation, Blush, Eye Shadow, and Lip & Cheek Stain by Paula Jones

I'm fair just a few tones darker than china. I use BB5 in Jane Iredale Glow Time BB Cream. Not needing peach lipstick, I ordered medium and I'm glad I did. As light as these colors are, I doubt a bright or light medium light would even show up on my face, and the foundation shades would definitely be too light. This set is very small, but a great way to try out multiple products at once. I've never been interested in any makeup line other than BB cream. It contains the following shades: Foundation SPF 20: Warm Sienna and Golden Glow, both in yellow base. Even if they are in the medium range, they are suitable for my fair skin. Warm sienna for now and golden glow for warmer weather. Each is the size of a silver dollar. Mocha Blush: Quarter size, brownish pink, fades easily and doesn't have much color. Great for the day. Eyeshadow: Oyster, Satin Light Cream/Beige. Supernova, a slightly glossy medium brown. Too much shine for me but I use it sparingly. Each color is the size of a nickel. Forever pink coloring of lips and cheeks. Reminds me of mood lipstick. It looks like a clear lip balm until it turns pink from the warmth of your lips. You can use this on your cheeks too, but I didn't like the sticky feel. Smells very fruity. The size in this kit is tiny, almost like the lipstick sample you get from an Avon representative. Also useless face brush and sponge eyeshadow applicator. I threw them away as I prefer my own makeup brushes. The colors seem to have pretty good staying power and I like the lip color for its moisturizing quality. These colors are designed for a natural daytime look. Since they're so pale, I doubt they'll be enough for a heavy evening look. Cosmetics are in a cardboard box with magnetic closure. I think it's a bit overpriced for what you get, but all Jane Iredale makeup is expensive.
