Review on Westinghouse Electric Blanket Settings Washable by Jose Ballard

We have been using it for about 6 months. General use, nothing special. Today it smelled burnt and we realized that the ceiling had burned a hole in our sofa cushion. It looks like one of the wires in the blanket was sewn together to get so hot that it burned through the blanket itself and then destroyed the couch cushion. We are very happy to have noticed this. It could easily burn one of us badly if we tried to use it for its intended purpose - as an electric blanket. Strongly recommend all buyers to look at the ceiling in front of the light. If there are any unusual brown spots or hot spots on the blanket, you probably see a fire hazard.
