At one time, the toad pressed to go broke. The decisive trigger was the urgent need to get files from home without starting the PC using anydesk or teamviewer. Also, oil was added by the ever-ending places in the clouds and the unwillingness to pay for them monthly. I don't see any noise issues. I set the profile to quiet and only occasionally you can hear the operation of the screws during loading (depending on the models of the screws themselves). Bottom line: the device is strongly recommended for purchase. After a while, you will not imagine how you got along without it. (05/2022): larger disks have been replaced, a 4GB RAM chip has been added, two Samsung 970 EVO plus 1TB+1TB SSDs have been added. Synology branded firmware has been ated. Flight is normal. During operation, there were 4 power outages - I survived without loss (I thought about buying a UPS for it).
