I stayed with friends this summer while working out of state. In a way, they're your stereotypical bachelors. After an unsuccessful search, it turned out that the house did not have a special indoor broom and dustpan, and certainly not a microfiber cloth. I picked them because they look cool and have a masculine appeal (I don't want to tornadodose them with rose gold and lilac cleansers). I can't stand the mundane plastic stuff, even the ones in the utility closet. They look more old-fashioned or classic. All tools work very well! The rag is especially useful for leather sofas as well as various vintage woodwork that is original to the home. The brush is ideal for countertops or accessing hard-to-reach corners. The bristles are also very easy to clean. (Haven't tried cleaning the rag yet.) I would definitely buy this set again!
