It's too modern for my very old house!

I'm just SO disappointed. Little did I know that not all doorknobs are different sizes. Our kitchen had just been painted and I wanted to put a nice antique brass handle on the old door now that everything was painted and beautiful. When I told our artist not to fit the old pin because I bought this one, he told me it probably wouldn't fit because the inner workings are completely different! And of course when this really nice set of pens arrived I opened the box and, without even opening it, saw that it didn't fit. DISCOVER! I really wanted that!
