Review on 🔧 Master the Art of Smooth Installation with SMARTSTANDARD Hardware Instruction Guide by Peter Hallett

This door hardware was a great match for my room decorating project in my basement. See photos. I bought special hardware to hold the door in place, see second photo. The supplied travel guide was not suitable for this. See my other review. A few notes for others doing a similar project: I would raise the bar at least 2 1/2 inches above the doorway. At the top is a small 2″ gap that I made according to the instructions. Also, the rod is difficult to align 100 percent. I got close, but when it was open it tilted a few inches when closed, which annoyed me. I fixed this by opening the door by putting a few small pieces of black tape on the bar to keep the door from moving when opened. You can't see it and it worked great. Overall very happy with this product. It took several hours on a couple of Saturdays. No problem.
