I really liked this humidifier but overall I am disappointed. My house is very dry in winter and I just wanted something to help in my daughter's room. The colored lights were a big plus, my daughter loved choosing the color for the night. The noise level was really impressive, no louder than the air coming out of the vents in your home. I'm disappointed because I bought it in November 2020, used it every night until tonight (just over two months) and it's already dead. Last week it started to be less foggy. Last night there was no steady fog - it fogged, then stopped. Then the fog stops. Fog. Then stop. then fog. and stop. I turned it off after my daughter fell asleep. I was hoping he would do better tonight after the break, but he did the same, only worse. It stopped emitting so much mist that a small drop of water collected in the area of the small spout and then periodically expelled it. At that moment he literally spat on the dresser. After my daughter fell asleep, I turned it off again. I tried turning it back on to use the 'light only' feature but it wouldn't even turn on.
