From the packaging I thought I had something high quality, I did some testing and it works as it should, looks solid, simple. A week later I hooked up my lapel mic to it and couldn't get it to record, found it required a TRS connector, not TRRS which is fine, I bought an adapter. When I first used it, I recorded important information for an hour and constantly checked the recording with a sound level meter. Later I tried to connect it to my computer but I couldn't turn it on. I plugged it in for a while and still nothing. I ended up having to use a stylus to press the reset button and it turned on and showed a full charge. I checked the instructions and it says to plug it into a powered off computer, which I did, nothing happened. I turned it on and plugged it in and nothing happened. In the end it turned out that you have to turn it on in the off state and then hold the power until the computer makes a noise similar to detecting a new device, but the recorder screen remains blank. I found "unknown device" and tried to open it. Not supported, driver update required (usually). No drivers anywhere, online, windows troubleshooter, customer service, nothing got me anywhere. So I gave up after a few hours. After 2 days I decide to try again, it can't be that hard. I try to turn on the registrar and NOTHING. Tried the reset button, NOTHING. Connected for a while NOTHING. This thing really seems to be a quality product and other people seem to have a lot of experience with it. But I had nothing but trouble and an insane amount of wasted time. An outstanding experience.
