Review on ๐Ÿณ Organize Your Kitchen with the Wall Door Mounted Pot Lid Rack in Chrome Finish by Robert Morrison

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The stand is ok, the fittings in the kit are junk

The stand itself is ok, rather thin but should hold the lids. The design really isn't great for handle lids, but should work for handles (mine all have handles and don't really go into the curves of the rack, so tend to floppy). The supplied screws are complete junk, I don't think I've ever come across weaker screws. I drilled pilot holes on the back of the cabinet door and began attaching the rack with the short screws provided. Before she was even halfway in, the screw cut in half, leaving half the shank on the head and the other half flush with the cabinet door, and it wasn't easy to remove. I thought (hoped) it was just a one off weak screw, drilled another pilot hole and tried again. And another broken screw. I got my own screws and completed the installation with no problems. So I've come to the conclusion that the screws that come with it are of very poor quality. They might work if you use plastic anchors in the drywall, but since they snap easily I would recommend using other fasteners.
