It also does not replace the GE XWFE water filter.

This filter does not replace the GE XWFE water filter. The refrigerator gives an error message and does not supply water. Take a closer look if you want to buy Pureline PL-4100. It says that this is a replacement for the GE XWF filter (without E). Apparently "uh" is important! Neither of these filters worked in my GE fridge freezer. The new GE XWFE worked.
