These spotlights are suitable when you want to illuminate something in a special way, e.g. Eg: Collection items, a picture in a frame, etc. They are bright, but don't expect them to fully illuminate the whole room. The remote control will conflict with other RGB strips you may have installed near the spotlights as they operate on the same frequency (2.4GHz). And the downside is that they drain AA batteries very quickly depending on how long you have them. They have an auto-off mode, so consider that if you want them on while you're in the room or overnight.
