So the title of my review should get someone's attention. Now that you're here, I'll explain why I need your attention. This monitor is (so far) very good. I'm writing this review on this monitor and it's amazing, but there are a few things I want to point out. That's all. PACKAGING 5/5: The packaging is very well done. There are no missing cables or components or the like. The panel was very well protected and showed no damage. SETUP GUIDE 2/5: Okay, here's what I'm really going to complain about. It was very difficult to set up this monitor. I have uploaded some photos to give you an idea. Here's the thing, the manual says "The monitor base is attached to the monitor before shipment and cannot be removed." Well, one of the pictures I uploaded shows a monitor (covered in a white protector); ring base; and another piece that connects the two, which separately I will call a bridge. English isn't my first language so I could be wrong, but "monitor base attached to monitor" means exactly that to me, not that the parts are shipped separately. I have no issues with the facility, that's not my complaint. My complaint is that it says it's connected and then doesn't tell you how to attach the bridge piece to the monitor. Now I will break it down into several steps. STEP 1. You take part of the ring and part of the bridge. and you put them together. plug and play Once you've done that, a white screw will appear at the base of the ring, which you'll need to tighten with a coin. So far, so good. This part is clearly described in the instructions, no problem. Step 2. Take the bridge + ring, insert it into the bottom of the monitor and press firmly. I mean VERY HARD until you hear some kind of clap and it clicks into place. Sounds easy right? It's actually when you have instructions that Acer doesn't give you. This is not explained in the user manual. I kept plugging the bridge + ring into the monitor and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. I was looking for some kind of locking mechanism and couldn't see it. I tried to be gentle because I didn't want to mess up the monitor, but I also had to hold onto it to get the bridge + ring in place. I unscrewed the bridge from the ring and tried to connect it to the monitor. He's just going to fall and I don't know how to make him stay. Out of sheer luck and 20 minutes of trying, I think I applied too much force and it finally snapped. I was scared for a second because I thought I broke it, but then I saw it wasn't falling anymore and I felt better. After that everything was pretty easy. Now some of you may say that I should have known that it takes a lot of strength to hold them together but sorry I didn't know and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing. EXECUTION 5/5. Looking at a 1366x768 monitor, all I can say is I get it! Everything looks so nice, fresh and clear. It is wonderful. I'm using a Revain Basics DVI-D (Dual Link) connected to an R9 380 Nitro and it works great. I play Rocket League a lot and can't believe how good the game looks now, it's surreal. Overall, the monitor looks very good and works very well. For this reason I think 4 out of 5 stars is appropriate. I will upload more photos if anyone is interested in seeing them. Just ask.
