Here is a hobby carpenter. These countersunk screws are a great way to quickly connect multiple boards while keeping things out of sight. Kreg also sells them in combination with connectors, which is a great way to save time on a project. After reading this is probably not the most reliable solution to connect some boards together but probably one of the fastest. Personally, I just didn't have the time (and tools) for complicated dowels, mortise and tenon joints, etc. So if you're just looking for a quick and easy way to get something done, there's no bad way to be proud.
