Excellent but not perfect

These are very strong screws that make the perfect addition to any pocket hole system; However, the Robertson drive is not immune to the cam and has its own design flaws. If the screwdriver is not perfectly perpendicular to the screws, it will wobble and dangle. I like that they hang on the bridle without falling off, but a lot of the screws came out after going in the pocket hole. I would like Craig to make the same screw in torx configuration.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • So-so

Krefeld screws work great! Direct replacement for blue screws in jig kits!

Excellent replacement for self tapping screws that came in my kit. Advantages: 1. Direct replacement for the "blue" screws included in the clamping sets.2. Square design provides limited slip when using a drill3. 2" length is perfect for most projects4. Stackable, lockable container, neatly organized. Cons: 1. I haven't checked but would like other color options? Even if the screw head is hidden would only recommend a 10/10 idea

High quality fastener

The original pocket hole version of this Kreg carpenter's screw is definitely a high quality fastener. Is it possible to get by with inferior versions? Probably. But for my money, I'll spend an extra dollar not to worry about a blunt tip or a deformed power head. Square head screws may be less of a problem, but I often have problems when working with cheaper Phillips head screws. Anyway, I don't want to mess around with screws so I'll stick with them. I've made probably 150 different items for…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Guard

Here is a hobby carpenter. These countersunk screws are a great way to quickly connect multiple boards while keeping things out of sight. Kreg also sells them in combination with connectors, which is a great way to save time on a project. After reading this is probably not the most reliable solution to connect some boards together but probably one of the fastest. Personally, I just didn't have the time (and tools) for complicated dowels, mortise and tenon joints, etc. So if you're just looking…

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
