Does not work as advertised on 2002 Trailblazer.

The steering knuckles fit my 2002 Trailblazer perfectly, but after a few miles the rear window wouldn't open. I removed the inner plastic covers and found that the locking mechanism disengaged when the release button was pressed, but the glass door was still stuck. I tightened the corners enough to loosen one of the braces and the other pressed against the sunroof hard enough to separate the glued hinge points from the glass. After releasing the second jamb, I found that both were locked in full extension, putting undue pressure on the pivot points and preventing the sunroof from opening. I smashed what appeared to be broken jambs and now need to fix the glass hinges that are coming loose. What should have been a simple renovation is now a major overhaul. Racks are absolute bullshit!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
