Ports L and T work; Read the manual
Aligning the power line (+12V) to one end of the T-connector is a bit confusing at first, but all I had to do was flip the LED strip and connect the other end. Let the power line connect and work properly. This meant I had to rethink a bit what I was trying to do, but all of the L and T connectors worked. I would suggest reading the little instruction manual that comes with the kit because I didn't do it at first and thought the T-connectors were just broken.
