Unusual layout - before that, all the laptops that I had had a lid attached to the back of the laptop. Here it is attached not to the end, but closer to the keyboard, because of which a protrusion is formed at the back (often found in models from Dell). Because of this, the screen is visually perceived less. However, it is convenient, especially if the laptop is most often stationary - all the wires that go to external devices, such as a power supply, a wireless mouse, a monitor, an additional keyboard, additional USB devices, are located behind the laptop and do not interfere. On the sides there are 2 USB outputs for removable USB devices. The R4600 has its own integrated video card, which is disabled by default. In an office scenario with an external card, the laptop lives autonomously for an average of 3-4 hours. In hybrid, if you turn on the built-in card, 6-8 hours. Only 2 nvme SSDs can be installed. The second, non-systemic, it is better to take the most quiet and cold. In general, the impressions from the laptop are only positive. The cooling system copes with a bang, only in the productive mode the noise will be more than noticeable. In balance and quiet - quite comfortable. 144 matrix of 8 bits shows itself at 100.
- Dimensions. The thin frame around the screen + the shape of the sidewalls make the laptop more like a 14'' model. R4600+rtx2060+16gb will last for several years. AC Odyssey and Cyberpunk run smoothly at 60 fps. 4600/2060 is the optimal combination, the processor is already up against the video card. Not particularly loud, the cooling system copes well. Nice keyboard. Excellent air outlets, rear and side. The lid opens with one hand. The webcam has a curtain. Under load of 80+ degrees, WASD and the touchpad are barely warm. Models with pre-installed Windows come with configured optimal power systems. There is a possibility of the "from the network" mode when the battery life is saved. The screen is really 144 hz 100% srgb. Through HDMI to an external monitor, no problem. Weight for a gaming laptop is low - about 2.5 kg. Excellent assembly, no backlash, no creaks. The fan grilles are thick, durable plastic.
- Matrices can be different, BOE and LG. I got LG, it is dark, comfortable brightness starts from 70%. The cover is made of graphite alloy, fingerprints are collected with a bang. But it can be easily removed with just a tissue. The power supply is such a wide brick, the biggest one I've seen so far. The backlight is so-so, very bright under the top keys (F row), the rest are dimmer. If you look at the keyboard from above, then everything is OK, if at an angle (for example, reclining and typing from your knees in the dark), then it hurts your eyes. But this is subjective. When some application is launched with the right to use the camera, a white bright LED lights up next to the camera, if it turns off somehow, I did not find it. The SSD is installed with a poorly fitting thermal pad, can be fixed by removing the cover and rearranging it normally. In this model, the SSD is practically not cooled, keep in mind, if you want silence, then all SSDs must be with good personal cooling. In particular, with a regular Samsung and the above jamb at idle 38-39 degrees, when watching a video / YouTube, the temperature reaches 40 degrees and causes the fans to turn on, which then work from 40 degrees on the SSD / processor / video card. Lid design from the LegionY predecessor, with the camera moved to the top. Because of this, below, where the camera used to be, you can feel the empty space under the cover with your fingers.
