Recently learned about the third type of UV rays. UVK. This is a shorter, higher-energy wavelength of light and is particularly good at destroying genetic material, whether in humans or virus particles. Man-made UV radiation has become the common sterilization method used daily in hospitals, airplanes, offices and factories.
