The product description should be clear

I just received this monitor yesterday and was dying to hook it up to my computer. I found that the small illustrated installation guide was not very clear and it was very difficult to read the installation guide on the CD without a monitor. Finally I set everything up, turned on the computer and the message "No signal" appeared on the monitor. I used the USB cable that came with it. So I called ViewSonic, the technician responded quickly and was told the USB cable was for connecting other electronics to the display and not my PC desktop. The other cable that came with it didn't work either. I was lucky I had a spare HDMI cable from the TV and it worked. Okay now I had a signal from my computer but I wanted to lower the monitor. The picture card showed a locking screw on the back of the monitor stand, but there wasn't a locking screw, so I called ViewSonic back and they told me I just had to gently push the monitor onto the stand. OK, you're done. This morning I wanted to register a product online, but the drop down menu for the state I live in didn't give me a single state to choose from. In the end I printed out the registration form and sent it in. The specs I read on the Revain website mention hardware color calibration, but if I read the manual on the CD correctly, the hardware color calibration software is included, but the hardware has to be purchased separately. I have a Spyder 2 colorimeter, I've used it and was happy to see that the Spyder 2 results are almost identical to the pre-calibration settings. I've had ViewSonic monitors in the past that have been very good, and this one is, at least for now, very good too. But they need to be a little clearer in how they describe the product and how to set it up.
