I've been discussing the "cool box" for the living room for a long time. Mom can no longer move easily and has difficulty going to the kitchen and coming back with a cup of water. But they were all expensive or bulky or heavy, and I was afraid we wouldn't use them often enough to pay off. This little thing solved all those problems. The small water pump doesn't really cool the water, but it allowed me to place a large water bottle in the most comfortable spot. It doesn't fit snugly around the neck of the bottle, but I wrapped some crumpled plastic wrap around the neck of the bottle and that helped secure it so it wouldn't wobble. The button is handy, and that's the whole point. easy to assemble and use. It does make some noise when pumping, but not even enough to make it hard to hear the TV, let alone disrupt it or cause problems. The flow rate is great! I estimate it fills a 16 ounce bottle of water in about forty-five seconds. I would deduct half a star for the packaging if I could. The little box was great, but they folded the hose in half (TWICE) instead of coiling it. It's not permanently flattened in those places, but it does kink and hang on the sides of the bottle much more easily when the tubing is inserted, so that's a problem. Not a big problem, just a minor annoyance that takes a second to fix when setting up. I've only used it a few times since it arrived today, so I can't comment on battery life, but it fully charged in just three hours when I unboxed it.
