Review on Dorman 628 040 Universal Seat Heater by Dan Reggae

This was one of the most popular seat heater kits. I found the quality of the kit to be very good. Here are the reasons why I didn't give a 5 star rating. 1. The fuse connector is for standard size fuses. I don't think cars use them anymore. I ended up having to purchase a suitable fuse from my local auto parts store. I don't think it would be too expensive for Dorman to provide one for each of them. 2. Unlike many other kits on the market, this one has a cut out so you can reattach the seat cover to the cushion. Not big enough. I had to cut it very carefully to make it bigger without damaging the wires. 3. Recommendations are fair. Before proceeding with the installation I would recommend going to youtube and watching a video on replacing seat covers and a video on installing seat heaters. After all, this isn't Dorman's ringing, it's aimed at Revane. The Revain recommended fuse tap will not work with miniature fuses. These are standard fuses. If your vehicle has mini fuses, make sure you purchase the correct fuse taps.
