Great mirror and a few tips

This mirror would look great in my new basement bathroom. I connected power to the main room light, only when the main light switch is on can the mirrors turn on (and the blue or red button is only at that time). It's elegant and quiet, easy to install - just like hanging a picture. The only reason I put a star on it is because the instructions were a bit simplistic and didn't match the actual mirror assembly. My instructions called for a one-piece mount, but I had two separate wall mounts. The hangers must fit perfectly as the brackets have guides that prevent the mirror from sliding left or right. I can't suggest a good way, but double and triple check your measurements. Another reason they lost the star is because the instructions say the wire connections are red and blue, but there was a blue and brown wire. It's also not easy to specify in the instructions what is loaded and what is neutral, although I deciphered their one-letter graphic instructions and wired them up with crossed thumbs. Now the mirror is beautiful. Keep in mind that if you have a dimmer, it won't dim much. I love it and am really excited. Note. Make sure you have two people. It's not heavy, but the length can be uncomfortable, and I pulled a small chip out of the frosted edge when trying to lift it myself. After he finally got up, I figured no one would ever see the little chip in the corner. We invite the mother-in-law to come over and the first thing that catches her eye: Chip! So if you don't want your MIL to notice your shortcomings, get someone to help you.
