I bought this to add a garage door opener to our main garage door. We have two cheaper openers that work great. We wanted it to have a good range and open the shop doors from home. This opener sent some sort of programming command to our opener. Even the wired open and close button stopped working. Not only could we close it with the remote, we couldn't close it with the wall button. This was after carefully following our opener's instructions and looking at the remote's instructions. The light flickered and the device clicked, but the door wouldn't close no matter what. I stood on the stairs and quietly switched between options. Now the door will only close if we stand there and hold down the button on the wall. When I let go, the door switches to open. It will take several hours of research plus lead time to fix the problem. I wish I had never bought this because of the complicated shit. That is unnecessary.
