This is a great replacement for an expensive $1000 BMW unit. I would call it more of an alternative. Your phone can currently do everything an expensive BMW navigator does and more. Did I mention that the BMW GPS module is overrated? Ridiculous. This bracket attaches to the bracket that comes with the GS and RS bikes and uses the same power connections as the ignition which is great! It has 2 USB ports that allow you to connect other accessories besides your phone (e.g. GoPro).
